T he Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc. is owned and operated exclusively by Mark A. Yeckley.

Mark received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Strayer University in Washington, D.C. He is a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, and after a year of internship, received his license to practice in 1992. Mark has been a Pennsylvania Licensed Funeral Director for over 20 years.

Founded in 1946, The funeral home was established and owned by Malcolm R. Kroninger. In 1975 Mr. Kroninger retired and Joseph D. Giles assumed ownership. In 2005 Mr. Giles retired and Mark A. Yeckley and his family moved to Mohnton from the Boyertown Area to assume ownership. Mark currently manages all day to day operations. The Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home has been serving the families of Mohnton and surrounding areas in Berks County for well over half a century.

Mark, along with his wife Wendy, and son David, will continue to serve the community of Mohnton and all of Berks County with dedicated, family to family service, for years to come.
